“I had the privilege of reporting directly to Johnny Ingle during his time as Director, REV Residential at Cable Bahamas Group. Johnny joined REV Residential at a critical moment for the business. This was a mature residential telecommunications operation, serving customers across fixed voice, broadband and television, with legacy product complexity, operational pressure, competitive intensity and a large customer base that needed to be protected, served and grown.

Johnny brought immediate structure and a calculated “war game” mindset to the teams he led. This commanded respect,

team buy-in and winning results. He was clear about the mission from the outset: change REV Residential in order to transform now. That clarity mattered because the work was not cosmetic. It required product simplification, commercial discipline, sharper customer communication, stronger internal accountability, better campaign execution, and a daily operating rhythm that kept the leadership team focused on the numbers that mattered.

What stood out most about Johnny was his discipline with time, meetings and execution. He did not allow noise to become

the work. He created structure, set priorities, assigned ownership and kept the team focused on business delivery.

He expected high standards, but he was always respectful and courteous in how he challenged people. He had a very clear ability to be firm without being dismissive, direct without being disrespectful, and demanding without losing sight of the people doing the work.

That balance became even more important when Hurricane Dorian devastated parts of The Bahamas and placed enormous pressure on the business, our customers and our colleagues. REV had to recover services, protect customers, reconnect

homes and keep the business operating in very difficult circumstances. Then, just as the business had worked through that recovery cycle, COVID-19 created a second major crisis: lockdowns, store closures, payment pressure, customer anxiety

and a sudden national dependence on home connectivity for work, education and family life.

Johnny’s leadership during that period was calm, structured and commercially focused.

He introduced a clear operating cadence, including regular leadership meetings and a “war room” approach to monitor the impact on Residential KPIs. He kept the team aligned across Products, Sales and Loyalty, Marketing and Communications,

and the wider business. In a period where uncertainty could easily have taken over, Johnny kept bringing the conversation back to facts, actions, ownership and outcomes.

He was also very strong on customer value. Under his leadership, we worked to simplify product propositions, improve the clarity of pricing and naming conventions, strengthen TRIO as a core bundle, support the development of the new REV

website, build stronger internal marketing and communications capability, and improve digital engagement and payment channels.

The results from that period demonstrate the value of that discipline. REV recovered from the Hurricane Dorian RGU impact within six months. Then delivered double the number of residential customers as the competition for the period.

This was achieved in the middle of a natural disaster recovery and a global pandemic. Johnny’s strength was not just leadership. It was that he knew how to turn pressure into structure, structure into execution and execution into measurable business progress. He cared about standards. He cared about people.

He listened, challenged, supported and expected the team to deliver - no excuses, no matter the circumstances."
